For 1 day a week I work as communication advisor for NMC. Together with Tammo ter Hark (Kleine Stappen) and Erik Tenniglo (Cup of Tea) I have revised the NMC-website. The other days in the week I am Manager Communication at the Netherlands Bioinformatics Centre (NBIC), a "sister" organisation of NMC.

I have an academic background in (bio)chemistry and a professional training in communication. Since 2000 I am combining my interest in science and technology with communication skills as (bèta) communication advisor.
