Global medium polar profiling

DESCRIPTION OF ASSAY

This platform uses an untargeted GC-MS method combined with a target list of well characterized metabolits for the analysis of organic acids, fatty acids, sugars, amines and primary metabolites in complex biological matrices. The method uses a combination of an oximation reaction using MeOX and a silylation reaction using N-Methyl-N-(trimethylsilyl)trifluoroacetamide (MSTFA).
